Pet Conditions

We care for pets that come to us with a variety of conditions, such as parasites that include fleas and ticks. We also provide care and recommend treatment for fur friends suffering from pet allergies.

About Fleas and Ticks

One of the aggravating issues pets deal with is the biting and itching resulting from fleas and ticks. Not only does an infestation cause discomfort, but these fleas can also cause more than one issue, such as your pet developing tapeworms, inflammation of the skin, hair loss, and sores. An infestation of your pet if left untreated is harmful to your pet's overall health.

Ticks are also dangerous as the small bug carries known bacteria and diseases, such as Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain fever. Pets with a tick infestation may experience symptoms, such as vomiting, fever, lack of appetite, diarrhea, lack of energy, and more.

At our hospital, we will check your pet for parasites and recommend a treatment plan and medication to eliminate the bug and provide protection.

About Pet Allergies

Like humans, pets can experience allergies due to a variety of causes. Some of these include flea saliva, pet medication, pollen, shed skin cells, and food ingredients. Our team will determine the cause of your pet's allergy and prescribe treatment, which may include medication and a change in diet. For our clients' convenience, we have a pharmacy where prescriptions for fleas, ticks, allergies, and food are available.
